The original architecture of this beloved English Cottage—designed by HL Massey in 1936 for Mr J S Caughey—has been thoughtfully preserved and adapted for contemporary living by Sumich Chaplin Architects.

📍Boat Shed Bay, Waiheke

Inspired by the forms of nearby historic boatsheds, the Boatshed Bay project by Patterson Associates is a casual yet luxurious holiday home designed to accommodate both separate and integrated living for extended family and guests.

Secluded on its own golden sand beach, the home is privately nestled within a natural amphitheatre of gently sloping hills.

The project features extensive paving in our Belgium Bluestone Agrippa finish — flowing seamlessly from the pool and coping to the steam room and laundry (not pictured).
