It became apparent that there was a gap in the market for quality natural stone paving for streetscapes and public spaces so with the foresight of designer and Designsource Director John Hughes Designsource Contract was formed in 1998 to focus on this evolving market.

Sue Holmes is remembered as an exceptional leader whose humour, vision, dedication, and commitment shaped Designsource in lasting ways. Her influence remains an integral part of the company’s identity, and her legacy continues to guide its direction. Sue’s passing is deeply felt across the business, but her passion for design and enduring impact will not be forgotten.
Rebecca Lorenzon is appointed Managing Director, bringing 15 years of experience with Designsource and a strong commitment to design excellence. Building on the legacy of former Managing Director Sue Holmes, Rebecca’s leadership ensures continuity in vision while guiding the company into its next chapter.
