Tantalus Estate is an award-winning dining destination on Waiheke Island, where a layered palette of natural materials creates connection between architecture, landscape and hospitality. Throughout the project, Designsource supplied an extensive selection of premium natural stone, including Jura Limestone laid in a herringbone pattern, Chambolle limestone paving across the outdoor terraces, and split-face Chambolle cladding to the feature bar. Complemented by bespoke stone detailing throughout the interior and exterior, the considered material palette lends texture and permanence, reinforcing the estate's understated character while ensuring lasting performance in a high-use hospitality setting.
