FAQ
Yes, some variation should be expected when ordering natural stone. While we provide samples, imagery, and project references to give the clearest possible indication of the material, these are intended as guides only, and some variation between your sample and the delivered stone should be expected. As natural stone is cut from different blocks, you can also expect variation in veining, tone, and shading from batch to batch, along with slight differences in thickness. This natural inconsistency is part of what makes each piece unique.
Natural stone ages gracefully, while porcelain only ever looks its best on the day it's installed. Porcelain can't be repaired if chipped, whereas natural stone can be restored and often develops more character and depth over time. We work closely with Lustre Ltd, who bring over 20 years of experience in stone restoration.
