Red Porphyry

Red Porphyry brings a rich, earthy palette of crimson reds, rust and warm brown, with subtle natural tonal variation.

Overview

Red Porphyry is a natural stone offering a warm-toned palette of rust, crimson and earthy red tones, paired with the durability and performance required for high-traffic and civic applications. Its distinctive colour is created by iron oxides present within the stone.

An igneous rock similar in composition to granite, Red Porphyry features a dense, fine-grained reddish to purple matrix with larger visible crystals of feldspar and quartz. Lending a sense of permanence and unique aesthetic appeal wherever laid, its natural variation and distinctive texture make it well suited to both indoor and outdoor applications across residential, commercial and streetscape projects.
