Calacatta Viola

Rich burgundy-purple veining, layered with varying depths of tone and hue, flows through Calacatta Viola marble, contrasting beautifully with its milky white base for a bold yet enduringly elegant effect.

Overview

Calacatta Viola is a distinctive natural marble formed over millions of years through intense heat and pressure along the boundaries of converging tectonic plates. Its signature burgundy and violet veining is created by iron-rich minerals deposited throughout the stone during its geological formation, contrasting against a luminous white calcite base. The result is a marble of exquisite depth, warmth and natural expression, yet versatile enough to suit a wide range of design settings.
