Airon Rockface

Origami House

RTA Studio

A perimeter of Airon rock-face introduces depth, privacy and rich natural texture, set against crisp modern lines and warm copper detailing. Designed by RTA Studio, this home evokes the luxury of a world-class retreat.

Overview

Designed by RTA Studio, Origami House is a striking example of luxury residential architecture, where sculptural form is defined by a refined palette of architectural stone. Conceived as a secluded retreat in the heart of Ōrākei, the residence balances privacy with expansive entertaining spaces and a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living. Natural stone is central to the architectural language, introducing warmth, permanence, and tactile richness throughout the home. A perimeter of Airon natural stone cladding in a rock-face finish anchors the exterior with depth and texture, creating a powerful contrast against crisp contemporary forms and warm copper detailing.
