At the foot of the Sky Tower and along Federal Street, PT Black Granite and Jura Limestone in a rustica finish form an enduring material palette beneath the city’s constant movement.
Overview
At the foot of the Sky Tower and along Federal Street, PT Black Granite and Jura Limestone form an enduring natural stone palette within one of Auckland’s most dynamic urban settings. Selected for their contrasting yet complementary tones and textures, the two stones create a considered backdrop to the movement of the city.
PT Black Granite brings a deep, subdued tonality with minimal veining, while Jura Limestone introduces a lighter, warmer counterpoint. Jura Limestone is finished in a rustica texture, adding subtle variation and tactility to the streetscape while maintaining a cohesive, understated aesthetic.
Together, PT Black Granite and Jura Limestone create a durable and natural material palette suited to a high-traffic urban environment, balancing longevity and performance with the inherent character of natural stone.
