A landmark upgrade to Auckland's main thoroughfare, the Queen Street revitalisation creates a more welcoming, accessible and vibrant city centre.
Overview
The revitalisation of Queen Street reimagines one of Auckland's most significant civic corridors, creating a more accessible, pedestrian-focused public realm that enhances the experience of the city centre.
Designsource supplied an extensive quantity of natural stone throughout the project, including paving, kerbs, channels and bespoke streetscape elements. Selected for its durability and timeless character, the material palette contributes to a cohesive urban environment designed to support high pedestrian volumes while enriching the identity and longevity of Auckland's principal civic spine.
