The Queenstown Town Centre upgrade, completed in early 2023 for the Queenstown Lakes District Council. Working alongside LandLAB during the design process, Designsource sourced granites, basalts and slates that echo the surrounding landscape while standing up to Queenstown’s demanding alpine environment. Greywacke boulders sourced from Omarama were shaped and honed by Timaru Bluestone Industries into sculptural feature stones that double as seating - grounding the streetscape in the raw beauty of the region.
